 Muff

Rescued: December 31, 2009

Adopted!

Muff is an English Spot mix who was rescued from a construction site here in San Antonio. She was brought home to live with a very loving couple who strive to help all kinds of animals in need. They are wonderful people who did all they could for this sweet littl girl. After much thought and now expecting their first child and with her busy nursing school schedule they decided to find liitle Muff a new home. My friend saw her ad an CL and told her about our rabbitry that also helps bunnies in need. She called us and we hit it off from the start! They are amazing people and they cared very much for this sweet bunny! She will bring joy to anyone looking for a special companion!

Mr. Peters

Rescued: December 30, 2009

ADOPTED!

Mr. Peters is a black New Zealand male who came to us all the way from Georgetown, Tx. He belonged to a young lady who could not take him with her when she went to college due to a "no pets" restriction at her new apartment. Her father contacted me after getting my number at a local shelter in hopes Mr. Peters could find a new home. This rabbit was very well taken care of and was very loved. With his busy teaching career and his daughter being at school they needed our help with their beloved bunny. Mr. Peters is extremely gentle and has no fear of people. He has adapted well here at our rabbitry and would be a great addition to a family searching for a forever bunny.

Oreo

Adopted!

Rescued 12/19/2009

This precious girl is a Broken black Rex. She came to us from a family near Austin with hopes to help find her a loving home. Oreo suffered life threatining injuries from a dog attack. Although it was an accident the family feared for her future and thought it would be best to rehome her. Oreo was extremely loved by her family who spent hundreds of dollars in the fight to save her life. The Vet thought it would be best to amputate Oreo's tail to prevent further spread of infection.Although Oreo has been left with scars from her accident it has not damaged her spirit. She is fun loving and very active. She enjoys spending her afternoons romping in the playard. I want to let her previous family know she is very loved and that although they had a difficult choice to make... I respect the courage it took to let her go. I will do everything I can for her. She is in good hands.

Rudy

ADOPTED!

Rescued: 12/03/2009

Male

Rudy is a californian rabbit who came to us because his family was moving to a place where pets were not allowed. He is a sweet boy and was very well taken care of! His personality will surely win you over! When it's feeding time it's all I can do to keep him out of my arms! He loves attention! His previous family was under the impression he was a she! So when I informed them that it was a he, they said it would be fine to give him a gender appropriate name so in light of the holiday season and because we are confident he has wonderful things in store for him we named him Rudy short for Rudolph!

Zwartje

Rescued: 9/14/2009

ADOPTED!

This little Polish mix was brought to us from Houston by a very sweet lady who also shares our love for animals. She contacted us when little Zwartje fell into her care under intense circumstances. For this little guy it was being let go into the wild by his previous owners or living with this loving stranger until she could find him the appropriate help. Though she would have loved to have kept him, her apartment setting did not allow it. We are happy to help! Welcome Zwartje ( Dutch word meaning "little black one") and thank you to the one who drove all the way from Houston to bring him here. You are truly appreciated!  And know that Zwartje loves you! He has the best personality! He is absolutely fabulous with my 2yr old and is extremely small! Perfect indoor bunny!!!
